Berlin
YaNKeY is a Berlin-based DJ who refuses to stay in one lane: nu-disco grooves, driving tech house, rolling drum & bass and the occasional electro swing detour, mixed into sets built for a dance floor rather than a genre tag.

About
The story
YaNKeY was trained in classical music from a young age, then discovered electronic music in the mid-nineties and never quite went back. DJing started in the late 2000s, and the craft was honed on mutant sound systems at AfrikaBurn sets that ran from dusk to sunrise, with dust in the mixer, no headliner slot and no genre rules, only the people in front of the speakers and whatever kept them moving.
